Dao Ming: The face up

 Today I did Dao Ming's face up. I think it turned out ok, It is nothing like I thought i was going to do xD But that's ok, I like how shiney she is. Though, I used a Cheap gold paint and it didn't like me very much, kinda thick. But it worked out! 

 The side. I was having fun doing the designs on her face with the black water color pencil. 

 Other Side. She still needs the right eyes, and possibly the right hair. But she wants Fluffy clothes now. :3

She is borrowing Machiko's wig. I kinda like it, I like it better then the one I made for her... Which i think is too small, actually. I'm still deciding. But I think she looks rather cute. And very interesting. :)

Playing Catch up, just a lil :3

 Its been a while since I've posted. But i have been doing a lot of creative things! First up is the picture above... I started to re-do Hakuei's tattoos. I think the butterfly is a little too purple, but I came up with an idea of taking a lil blue paint and put some of the matte varnish, then painting it on to make it look more blue. I will have to try this when I can get to it. I'm doing them slowly, because there are so many, and i don't want to take them all off and once and freak myself out! 

Next, is the Lil face plate I got at the the swap. This is Tsukuru! I modded his eyes and did a face up. He's not going to be done for awhile, Since I need to get him a body. Also need to figure out how to do his ear piercings  But I have time XD I think he looks really cute! I did not Find Tsu, he found me... and I think his cute band mates will eventually make it home to me too, eventually of course! XD <3

Next is the commissions i've been working on. Got sewing machine back from being cleaned, and worked most of the night tonight making one pair of pants, The vest and tank on the right, and the coat on the left. Coat is still not done, but I think its looking good! And I really hope both of these girls like what I made for them >o< always worries me if i made the right things, and picked the right fabrics. I hope...

Anyways that is a very brief update. Next one i will talk about my dragon girl... But I wanted to get all the things \I've been doing. All so much fun for me :) Thanks <3

What Vampires do at Night!

Hi hi! Last Friday I was all by my self in the apartment... Which BTW is AWESOME! I was also sleeping like a vampire during the day... AKA I slept all the sun away basically xD So at night I was wired! And not so sure what to do with myself. So I kinda planned out Jun's Tattoo I want to do, but I want to get Suede first and work on that at the same time. So, after that i just decided to re-do Jun's face AND Shima's cause the gods know he needed a new one. So here are the results!

 My Idea for Jun (DOC Sha mod) is very kabuki, kinda Maiko-esque. He's a bassist, very mellow. But in a past life he did work as a whore (male) in an Edo period Brothel. So he is very much into the make up and things that are slightly more feminine. Right not he's in something that is a combo of his clothes, his boy friend's and Hakuei's.... and is not the happiest. But he looks good so thus he shall stay! though I think I like how his face turned out. I wanted his eyebrows to look more painted in, as opposed to real. And I wanted him to look pale as well. The shadow turned out alot more PINK then I thought, but I guess that is what happens when you forget to turn on your Ottlight >.>....

 I think it is one of the better ones he's had, i feel bad for the boy though cause when you do strip all the makeup off you can really see the crap job of modding someone did. And I always find something new that they modded too. So I think the mods they did was: Cheeks on both sides, nose, chin, and eyes... the eyes only on each side, looking like they tried to flatten down the crease. He is very pretty though with the make up. This is the 3rd, 4th face up i've done on him? idk anymore XD

 His Left ear is actually pierced  I wonder if I put a dangley earring if that would be more him... Hmmmm... BTW I want to emphasize I did not do his mods, they were either done by the previous owner or the one before that. IDK.

 This is Shima! (AOD Qian boy) He's adorable, and that is really why I got him! Super cute! His face up when he came to me was filthy. and in fact I think it was dirtier then I thought cause when I took him out of the Windsor, I had to scrub brown all off of his face and head. So either they blushed him in brown or that was a hell of a lot of dirt! Anyways he is now SUPER CLEAN! And initially I had no Idea what to do for his face up, until i got an idea from my Cure magazine. There one of my boys, had make up that was similar to this idea. Brownish base then the feathery liner. He also had a lip ring too but i switched the sides xD It is not exactly the same, but its close and i actually really like it! IT gives him such an attitude I didn't know he had! AND he's so happy now! Doesn't look sad all the time! ITs also helping me dig out his story and who he really is! And What clothes he might want! So I think this is a good change! Tho, I can't wait to figure out suedeing cause MAN he needs it BAD! his body is so wonky it make me sad. I need to do this soon!

 This is my fav side. The glue was still drying on his lips. And when I find my camera's battery charger I'll get good pics of these boys all together!

Haru face and lack of Art

I haven't done much in the creativity lately. Lots of ideas, but not much really done. Few weeks ago I did Haru's face as you can see! I kinds liked out he turned out. Ok there are still things that need to be improved, but i'm really just happy to have him back! I missed him! I think some things need to be improved but I don't mind it! He looks cute and much more like how i want him to look!!

I need to sew, i have an idea for an outfit for Jun, but I need some supplies. I've been thinking alot about re-doing my Jun's face too, and doing his tattoos. BUT I also want to learn how to suede with real suede. so I can fix his body and ESPECIALLY  Shima's body. Shima, is Beautiful  I love his sculpt. His resin is nice. But the posing >o< Nightmare! Such a cute doll... but he needs to be made workable!

Also have had this overwhelming desire to buy some of the fun duct tape and make a dress for one of my MNF girls. Not sure why, i just think it would be fun to do XD 

Anyways yeah, i hope i can work on things again. I miss doing artsy things!

Been Awhile

I haven't written in awhile, because I haven't really don't anything  creative in awhile. Not sure why, I have been getting more hours at work. That may be it, also I have a difficult time creating since my brother has been here. I've tried to ignore, or tried to work around it. But if I'm not listening to something to inspire me, or don't have the room... That And he has a tendency to suck the energy out of all of us. 

Ok so I shouldn't blame others, but... Its been really difficult, since all I do is live in my room. Poor Haru, needs his face done. He's all bare, and we miss him over here. Kyo i think misses him the most, he like the "Dog" xD 

Anyways Its also been FOREVER Since I've sewn At least it seems that way. This is for a commission, and i think it turned out really nice!! I hope the chick likes it XD

Anyways, Hopefully this next week i can get some things I want to get done. I have an Idea for for the modded face plate that maybe really neat if I can get it to look like i see in my head! <3

GD Says YO!

This is G Dragon. At the moment i fixed his eyeliner and put  smile lines. its not perfect but its good for now!~ i have lots to improve on, but its a gradual type thing.  Sims gave me lots to look at, so next time i do a face up I'll be looking at certain things. I've been improving though, I think. Eyebrows especially, though still really dark, at least they are even. and at least the strokes don't look like i'm having a stroke while i'm doing them. I think he's cute. Maybe this week I'll redo some of my other kids <3

GD and the MOD

 I haven't posted in a while cause i've been MIA when it comes to creative things. Sometimes I think about things but don't actually do it. The little one above is supposed to be Haru's other faceplate. I was a little too ambitious and tried to mod the lip up, instead of down. I screwed it up,  and had to do an additive mod with milliput. Though i made it look better it is really hard to match the color. I did a face up, and its ok... but i think this plate needs more work... Or I'm thinking about it the wrong way and should just paint it differently. Embrace the scariness... I don't know what to do.

 There are the 2 faces i did. I think they look ok. I like my Shiwoo quite abit. Maybe needs a lil more work but I think he's looking alot like G. Dragon <3 I'm trying at least. Faceups are not always my forte.

Yum Curry

I made Curry today! Mmmmm Curry! this is really the only thing I did these last 4 days off. I rested alot, and there is so much I want and need to do! Dance was fun! Keeping arms up is difficult for me cause i have so much weight on them, and the muscles in my back are like "WTF?!?!" But I think it is very good for me!! I can't wait to do more!

I was going to do faceups... I was going to sew... Instead I dyed my hair xD It is now red on top and black under! I LOVE IT! I need to clean my room again. I just have way too much stuff and not enough space... and NOT I don't need space bags! Clothes are not the problem! Its everything else! 

*sigh* and its so cold.... Just want to hibernate. Need to be creative at some point XD been looking at aves to work on gore mods on Opheila's body. but i'm kind of afraid but also axtious to do.  I think i can do it though... She just needs a few spots on her body and I think she's good!~

Ongaku!!

 TODAY! I went to my friend's house and totally ripped MOST of her V-kei. Actually just went there to hang out a little, get away from the house, and talk. But was like Oh she offered this once... *brings computer* I counted ripping 87 singles/albums... so over 100 songs at least! Some bands were ones I've never heard of, that just had like one single here or there. Or bands long broken up... Then then some classic, An Cafe, Nightmare, Baroque, what else... So many! And she had a lot of sale too, that I also ripped. But only 2 I picked out to buy at a later date! One Myv and one SuG <3 Old School but so FUN! This made my week, just like My friend Bri, giving me a poncho! Started off Crappy but ended rather nice! Ver nice to hang out with Rachel and her kitties and just chill!! <3

Kyo was helping me with this pile... He's kinda pissed there was not Diru in there. But one can't always be what one wants!

Reading? REALLY?!?

I'm slowly trying to get back in to reading. So yeah, Really great that I picked Japanese history, right? Well though I am slowly reading, it is rather interesting. It's kind of a overview so there is no unnecessary wordy crap that makes one want to go to sleep. As you can see I'm only on 63 XD Heian period YAY! There is not a whole lot to Japanese history, mainly cause it is a rather 'young' country. Well not as old as China at all. The first Few chapters I read, then had to kinda re-read cause I forgot what they were talking about. So to remedy that after the chapter is done, I summarize like I did when I was in school. The problem with me is memory. It always take a lot to get it in there and in long term. Hell even short term its always a challenge. I plan on reading this later! 

Today, I danced though I have muscles that are hurting and stiff. 1: because of stress, and 2: cause I'm using muscles I'm not used to using ... AT ALL! Its always fun though, though I need to practice during the week, more then I did last week. 

I need to find time to read, and to study Japanese. This is why classes are the BEST cause it forces me to study. As opposed to me trying to do it and its just so random. I have some of the basics, i just need to re-study the hard stuff, more vocab, and expand. 

Tomorrow I'm going to go out with my friend, and hopefully later or before work on something creative XD not sure what but something!! I need some art <3 Its important!

Short Post

Random Picture XD! Yesterday I went with Friend to Mitsuwa. That was a nice treat, spent a small fortune. But was so tired That I also went to sleep early when I got home. Today was an awful day at work... Actually it just started off bad and all little things just added together to just make and awful day.

Thus a cute picture of my boys, and my ideas on when i have off of work. I want to do a face up on Haru's other face and my shiwoo face plate. Also, maybe do some sewing... Also going to dye my hair, two toned. Black underneath red on top.

TORI-CON!!

TORI-CON 2013! Or... Aka Tori's Birthday Party! Kind of impromptu, but actually really nice!Had fun kind of learning 3 games. The best of which was the game.... Oh god, i can't remember what it was called now... But it was like Apples to Apple but dirtier!Greatest game ever! 

Tori is in the middle, Heather is next to her on the left, I'm on the right XD These are my Petsmart girls. They were the only thing that made that job worth going to everyday is seeing their lovely faces. Mind you there were other girls that worked there that were also nice, and I really enjoyed their company. But its these girls that are very close to my heart. We are nerds, artists and well just crazy lovely chicks XD Who WOULDN'T Want to hang out with us? Really? 

Anyways it was fun, and her friends are very nice! Very welcoming. I got to hold a snake that belongs to her boy friend!  Such a cute and sweet Albino corn snake! I love Reptiles! Maybe that's one reason why I love dragons so much XD Also got to pet a very cute Kitty owned by one of her friends  Yes, I'm a sucker for the animals!

It was a fun party, and great company. Now to just get us all together of a lazy day xD! Also, If anyone is interested... None of us work at Petsmart anymore. Heather works at a bank, and Tori at World's Market. <3 Lots of love to my girls <3 And Happy Birthday Tori!! <3

Dragon

Today I started a Layaway for this little one, in Yellow skin! Well Normal yellow skin, not like its going to lemon yellow... though that wouldn't be a big problem anyways! I really like her, ever since My friend showed her to me, and since they are discontinuing her... On a long layaway I think, its ok :3 She's not totally expensive but i think i could do something really cool with her! And make her weird funky clothes!! Though, of course show off that awesome ass and tail!! <3 

I actually really love dragons. People might not know about that about me, but they are my favorite mythical creature. Move over unicorns.... Dragons are the BEST! My favorite above all are the Chinese dragons. I remember a story book, oh god, long time ago maybe first grade give or take a year. Where there was a girl who had to search for a pearl for a dragon. I don't remember the entire story, but i remember i really liked it! It was an interesting relationship between the girl and the dragon. I always thought it would be really cool to ride on a dragon's back. 

Ok, so I do have a little Asian girl living inside me. So sue me xD The fascination started early. And is going to continue.

On this same note I have been feeling like watching 'Spirited Away'. Maybe I'll get a chance soon xD Or maybe When i'm finished with this I'll watch it! I really don't know <3 Haven't decided if I want to sleep now or not!

But anyways, That was my project for the day? Kinda XD 

Thursday

This is a kimono I finished yesterday for a commission. Its going out tomorrow i hope she likes it! I love this pattern, I've been tempted to just keep the SD one that hasn't sold yet. For some reason the SD's aren't selling. Maybe people think they are not worth the $45... But really they are. It doesn't take me too long to make them, couple hours. Sew them i mean... it's the prep that takes alot. I think if I lined them, they would be double the price. It really does take a lot to make them. I think i'm just used to doing it!

We aren't selling at ACEN this year, cause really none of us had the money to really go for it. That and we all need a break. 2012 took alot out of us @o@ so we are going to work on things that we have always wanted too, and for our own dolls. Also get some stock up as well. 

Though i still think I'm going to go to ACEN. I want to make check out some loli things, as well as see if there are any concerts worth seeing. 

What else can I say. Hopefully can get to Mitsuwa this weekend. Also need to mail out packages to peoples. 

Maybe this week i can do my Shiwoo's face up, or try. Maybe work on the Ante wink mod for Haru. I kind of want to get good Pastels though. Also Tattoos on people... maybe... Or should i just sew! I know i really need to sew things for my dollies!

Dance and stuff

Everyone needs a box of body parts XD!! I know I do... No really I do have some!!  But they are all resin so its not AS creepy <3

Just got back from dancing. I really enjoy belly dance. Its the second class and its just so much fun for me!! There were more people in class today. I think about 7! All different shapes and sizes. Its really nice. Been thinking about how I was in Ballet when I was little lately. I loved it too, but people sucked the fun out of it for me. I don't remember the teacher being mean, just kinda blah. Parents remembered that she was kind of a bitch. I just remember I didn't have any friends in the class, and the one girl used to make fun of me all the time. According though to my parents and the teacher i liked, yeah i was a little heavier but I was GOOD. I knew everything. But I quit. and always regret it. 

So Belly dancing gives me something that I lost long ago. So I'm really happy! and today Jen surprised me and gave me one of her old hip scarves! So Now I have a jingley Butt! I LOVE IT!! \^O^/!! 

Anyways, Ophelia is happy with her body. I have come to the conclusion i'm just going to figure out how to do mods on it and have fun!! She's actually sitting on my shelf in a skimpy outfit. Also I need to get more shelf room. Its kind of crowded on both shelves. 8 Mini's on one and 5 SD boys with 3 tinies. Yeah... Kinda crowded. 

Anyways I need to clean off my table and get to sewing, since someone wants me to make a kimono. But i have to clean.... yuck! 

Nude Warning!

 Well.... The Neck piece turned out not to work. I would have taken me 500 years to carve out the right amount to have it fit. And in the mean time it broke anyways, cause of some faults that happened when i made it. So... Last night I might have done something stupid, and while trying to figure out how to make a new neck piece, I just decided to make her head fit a 'normal' body not a MNF. Thus, her neck piece whole is filled with milliput. and Thus cannot be reversed. I don't know if that was a good idea. I'm feeling mod remorse and Hybrid shame. Help me >.<

You can see its clean looking but the skin is not a match. Though I think its ok, she looks better with clothes. I think I can still try and do mods on the body, and maybe with that she will look ALOT better. WE will see xD Sometimes.... My ideas don't always work like I think they should. 

The Mods Begin....

Today I got in a body, Dollzone Girl old body. Pretty cheep, supposedly it was supposed to be a yellowed White, but I don't think so. I think its just the normal yellow Dollzone makes. I was getting it for Mao, who is my Juri white skin head, but this body is too peachy to work with her. Mao is just too paper white XD But it's not too bad for Ophelia. Though I debate on weather or not I want to keep her on this body. It's not a perfect match, but the way that Ophelia is blushed, and the gore mod, it really doesn't matter. On one hand I want her to have a Minifee body, because well... That's what she is, and I have this issue with Hybrids. But on the other hand I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on a Minifee body, just to do/practice zombie and scar mods on. A while back before I got this body, there was a cheap MNF body on DOA that had mods here and there, But didn't have the money at the time, and so it was gone. And this one was great price! So... We will see what i decide!

I made 2 neck pieces out of milliput, one is more of a doughnut the other I fit into the Neck-piece hole to make an impression. Needless to say the first one works better then the second, but it needs to be gowned down a bit on the sides, and on the inside in order to fit perfectly.

AS you can see, she looks a bit bobble headed at the moment. And the white sticks out quite a bit. Though I think tonight I'm going to work on it, so that it fits much better and looks more natural.  Though even through all of it Ophelia is really happy to have a body, and is claiming that this is her's no matter what! I think she just doesn't want to be body-less again xD <3

The Beginning

So to start, my name is Ashy and I have decided to start a blog. I did this mainly because I have so many idea's and projects going on in my head that I not only want to keep track, but also let friends know what I've been doing with my life. I thought it would be fun and interesting to actually have a place to put all these things and to have something I can go back to and see my progress. I have been following my Friend's blog on all her daily efforts or trying to create and work on her art. Thought this was a great idea, and decided that I kind of want to do this too!

 Long Ago I had an LJ, But didn't really like it, mainly cause it was not user friendly  and I would only post when I was really down and out. It was actually really depressing, being that I was having all these issues with meds, and friends...  It was just not something that I didn't want to keep or even look back on. I want to have a place I can be proud of and keep up a positive outlook on life! Thus, this new start!

I'm going to try to post everyday, or every other, depending on what is going through my head at the time. And I hope that I can produce things that I'm proud of as well as get good feedback from others. 

Right now I have posted my New littlefee faceplate, my shiwoo elf. Always wanted a shiwoo elf since he was the event plate long ago... And Finally got one that was a great price! I have no idea who he is, or who he is going to be... One Idea is G. Dragon since he has a similar nose and little smile. Eyes are kind of big, but I think with the right face up it might be ok! But then... Its difficult cause every doll I get on impulse, and I think they are going to be 'name person here' they end up being their totally own person. But we will see when I put on a face up! Hopefully soon!
